All lines are not created equal

Question: Have your fishing results been compromised?

When monofilaments are produced with conventional methods, all manufacturers are faced with a compromising decision. If a high strength to diameter line is desired, with stronger and more abrasion resistant qualities, the trade off is a stiffer, less manageable line that exhibits degraded knotting performance with far less shock resistance. However if a more supple, manageable line is desired, the trade-off is a weaker line with a degraded abrasion and shock resistance. In some cases line companies will build thicker lines to claim higher strength, but the fisherman is now fishing with a heavier line, which compromises the fisherman.

Answer: A GAMMA ‘processed’ line.

Like all other manufacturers, we are faced with the same limitations in the making of the raw material. But unlike all the others, GAMMA has done something about it!
