Many PVA products do not totally dissolve, they simply shrink leaving behind chemical residue next to your bait. Meltdown is a special PVA. The filaments which make Meltdown were specifically selected for their strength and ability to dissolve. The design of the braid allows water to enter through the external structure and melt the braid from within as well as outside, ensuring total dissolve. Incredible strength prevents stringer snap offs, stands up to big baits on full blooded cast. Essential for all stringer users.
