Predominately fishmeal based, the Herring contains a high percentage of predigested fishmeals and crustacea ingredients with added betaine and green lipped mussel. As with the trend (and, of course, results) of fishmeal baits over the last few years it lend itself to mass baiting, bait 'teams' etc.
Red Herring contains stimulants specifically formulated to react with the base ingredients, resulting in fishmeal bait that produces right through the winter when many other mixes of this type seem to switch off. The Herring also includes Crustacean Compound and a high percentage of the wonderstuff 'Robin Red'. Slayer Salmon Oil, Squid and Octopus, Smoked Salmon and Solars X-Rated Extracts are proving deadly additives to the mixes, but always remember to leave out any fish based oil during the colder months. During this time a dip/soak can increase your chances on both hook bait and freebies. Probably the highest ingredient profile of any bait on the market today.
