This versatile match style float rod is a slightly stepped up version of the 13ft Ultralight with extra reserves of power in the tip & middle. Reel lines nominally quoted from 2½ lb to 5lb can be pushed to 6lb or even low diameter high tech 7lb for small to medium carp or for bagging up on chub, bream & tench. This high modulus blank is exceptionally light and rigid with a fast but gentle tip action allowing hook lengths down to 1lb (0.08mm) to be fished with confidence. Full SiC guides ensure that all line movement through the rings including playing big fish is smooth and efficient.
