Following a discussion with one of our consultants it was decided we should design a product that would enable anglers to fish more effectively on blanket weed. Whilst chod rigs have enabled us to position hookbaits on weed without fear of the quality of their presentation, they are very limiting when trying to deliver loose feed into an area where your hookbait is situated. Their fundamental mechanics mean the only way to increase the amount of attraction around your hookbait is to apply liquids to the hookbait itself, making a chod rig a ‘single hookbait’ approach rig. This can be effective in many applications but CC Moores felt there had to be more effective ways to present baits over blanket weed - so we designed the Weedbeater Mix
